Connected Vehicle Simulator

LATOM’s Connected Vehicle (CV) simulator is a system where a driving simulator, executed through an open-source gaming platform, is connected with a microscopic traffic simulation model. At the same time the CV simulator interfaces a traffic signal controller through multiple Hardware-in-the-Loop connections including Direct Short-Range Communications (DSRC) protocols. Building of the simulator interfaces is still in progress while all of the major software and hardware components are already assembled.
